General Goals

FarCry 7 release contains a series of General Goals we'd like to achieve in the next major product release cycle.

 

1. Improve webtop experience (see Webtop UX Overhaul)
2. Drag and drop files and images
3. Front-end in-page editing
4. Improve framework startup / restart lifecycle
   1. Reduce dependencies, more modular handling of application scope data, faster startup
5. Better separation of back-end and front-end resources to reduce conflicts / breakages (CSS, JS, formtools markup)
6. FarCry plugin management
7. Import data from an existing FarCry site
8. Remove unused code and refactor the organisation of "old" code
